Auto-Tweet Your Blog

A great way to get some extra traffic is Twitter. We've got our blog set up so that when there's a new post, it automatically goes out on Twitter as a tweet. A link is made to that blog post so that people can read the whole thing.

The more you put out there on Twitter, the more followers you'll have since people are searching for things and will start following you if they're interested in what you tweet about. These are people that want to hear from you - just like an RSS feed or e-newsletter. It's great.

And the more you blog, the more content you get on your site. The more content you put on it, the better you show up in search results because of long tail keywords. Content is definitely king... still!

This is one great use of social networking. You can also build up a network on Facebook and post news items there or update your status. This is just one thing Webstix can help you with.
