Google 'Spring Clean' Search Results Pages (blog.searchenginewatch.com)

In case you haven't noticed yet, the look and feel of Google search results have changed. A post in the Official Google Blog by Marissa Mayer, VP Search Products & User Experience, says, "While we are constantly rolling out small changes and updates, today's changes showcase the latest evolutions in our search technology, making it easier than ever to find exactly what you're looking for."

Kinda cool, I like it:


It makes the page a little longer than before since it has gone from 2 column to 3 column and the middle column is longer but it's nice. People's computer monitors have also become bigger, so I think this change is fine and won't affect usability negatively. Plus, it's Google. You know they tested this design thoroughly.
