"We have had our website up for about 1 1/2 years, and the amount of business we have generated from it is amazing!! Webstix did a great job designing the site and helping us to get it going."

I guess that would be a decent "tweet" but not a very interesting one. :-)

We've got more about this microblogging phenomenon and even an article about nanoblogging. Pretty soon it'll be down to blogging about Sesame Street sponsors (The Letter 'A').

So here are a few more articles about Twitter. First, here's part two of the one I mentioned last time:

Twitter 101, Part 2 (searchenginewatch.com)

And another one, which I like the title of a lot:

Everyone is Twittering, But Is Anyone Listening? (searchenginewatch.com)

So is Twitter just a popularity contest? Personally, I think it's just a "fast food" way of supposedly keeping up with your friends without actually having to spend time with them. It's cool to have that extra contact but I've got a feeling that it's starting to replace personal, face to face contact. That's not good. Pretty soon we'll all sit in our homes, never go outside and just communicate with their keyboards. I guess if that's where people are, then that's where marketing and advertising will be also.

So check this out:

Think Microblogging is Hip? Try Nanoblogging! (searchenginewatch.com)

For people that "don't have time to Twitter". Ha! It's just 26 characters. Watch the video:

(yeah, it's a joke... but not beyond where this is going) :-)
