| "I am familiar with Webstix in two capacities: in partnership with our marketing consultancy and as their direct customer. They have my unmitigated recommendation in both capacities. As a partner, they have state-of-the-art technical skills, keep to deadlines, and effectively communicate with customers. In sum, our consultancy’s own reputation is burnished when we do business with Webstix. As their customer, they built our latest website, and I think that website speaks for itself in recommending them." |

Is using video on your website a good idea?

Using video on your website is a great idea and useful to connect with your audience. A video will communicate passion, feelings and conviction quicker and more forcefully than most other media. Of course, this is nothing new as evident by the video below. Here are two sources for your online videos. You've probably heard about YouTube by now but you might not be familiar with Vimeo. Unlike YouTube the videos on Vimeo are all displayed in high definition. Webstix recently launched the new website for the Mallards baseball team and the new site is using video on the home page as well as a video archive using the Video/Audio module that is a part of their easy to use CMS (Content Management System): http://www.mallardsbaseball.com If you are curious about an online video for your web site let us know. We work closely with local video production companies in Madison and Wisconsin that can assist you.
