Here in Madison the snow is melting and it's getting warmer. We like this time of year. We're not all bundled up and when it hits 40 degrees, it feels like 70 to us. It reminds us that spring is coming and with that comes to mind ideas of spring cleaning and new beginnings. It's only natural that people are also thinking about updating their websites.

When you update your website, you don't need a huge budget. Just about any budget will work. The updates can just consist of updating some really old content, changing some pictures, adding rotating (fading) pictures to the home page or maybe even all the way up to a total makeover. The important thing is that updates are being done.

Why Should Website Updates Be Done?

I'm glad you asked!

Think about it. Where do you go to find answers to things? What do you use all day at work? You use the Web. Phone books are becoming really tiny now because nobody is using them. The same with newspapers. Magazines still have their place but their subscriptions are doing that great either. Everyone is using the Web. It's at work, it's at home, it's on our phones and now even on our TVs. Internet access is everywhere and it's only going to increase.

You need your website to be up to date because that's where people are looking. That is where people are finding your business. If you checked your web site visitor statistics, you might be surprised to see how many people visit your website every day. And on your website is where people are seeing the first impression of your business. Is it a good first impression? Is that what you want people to see? Make sure it is.

Why Do People Need Help With Their Websites?

For many reasons. Usually we hear stories about how their web developer left town or went out of business or can't be reached. Many times companies have to scale down their staff and either the person doing the website has left or someone else now has that job and doesn't know what to do.

We realize that in many situations, nobody even knows how to get into their website anymore. The FTP info is missing or they don't know who their host even is. We can help you get all that figured out. We realize that you need to run your business, not know everything about your website - you don't have that kind of time.
