Webstix, Inc. was formed in 2001 by 3 individuals when 2 of them were on an overseas trip to India and met with people very skilled with web design. They later met with their friend, Tony, back in the U.S. who had experience with web site design. A business plan was then formed with all 3 owners, a designer in India was hired at a new office there and Tony’s small company was transformed into Webstix, Inc.

Webstix, Inc. now owns a much larger overseas office now with more personnel. Most of the web site production is done there with project management and sales being done here at the corporate headquarters in Madison, WI. Webstix, Inc. employs several key people who rank at the top of their industry specializing in web design, PHP programming, Joomla programming, JavaScript, DHTML, XHTML and MySQL programming as well as Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of web sites so that sites rank high in search engine results.

Lennart Johansson comes to Webstix, Inc. with experience from running his own company. He was born in Sweden and now lives in Sun Prairie with his wife and 3 children. He is an avid reader and enjoys sailing. Lennart serves as the President of Webstix, Inc.

Tony Herman got his start working at Full Compass in Middleton, WI right after graduating from the UW-Madison with a degree in Communication Arts in 1995. He pioneered the in-house web department at Full Compass and left there with a staff of 3 people working for him and a performance record of producing 700 new leads a week as well as the first Associate of the Year award ever given. Tony then worked at ForTheFarm.com, which was an e-commerce portal for the agricultural industry.

Tony enjoys going out on the lakes, playing drums, alpine skiing and getting together with his friends and family. He lives in Madison and is the Project Manager at Webstix, Inc. who works with the sales team, clients and production staff to complete web site projects.

"Leo" is Lennart's dog (pictured above) who is often seen at the office. He's a Portuguese Water Dog and likes greeting new clients.
