The DeForest Area School District is a district made up of 6 schools (4 elementary, 1 middle and 1 high school) north of Madison, WI.
Problem
This client needed one web site using a single CMS (Content Management System) to manage all 7 web sites (6 schools plus the main district site).
Solution
Webstix modified our CMS software to accomodate all web sites and also give individual access rights to individual users (a feature not yet developed in the core CMS code from our vendor).
Another custom feature added was dynamic page headers based on the title of the page. This makes it easier for different types of users to add or edit a page.
The client can now update any section of their web site themselves with ease.
