If Webstix, Inc. needs to add products for the client, our standard hourly rate does apply (please contact us for a detailed quote as the amount of time to populate a database might vary significantly and the final cost depends on many factors).
Optional Configurations
The goal of a good shopping cart setup is to make the store as automated as possible. This might, depending on the specific needs of your client, require Webstix, Inc. to make a few modifications or custom features to the standard shopping cart software. These modifications might include:
- The shopping cart software will link into PayPal.com as the gateway for checkout.
- Upon checkout, an email will be sent to the manufacturer as a Purchase Order for drop shipping.
- Credit card payments can be submitted by shoppers using a secure form. Once a form is filled out, an e-mail is sent to you, and the payment information is then downloaded from the secure server (e-mail is NOT a secure media for transmitting sensitive payment information). This arrangement will work well for those that are already set up to handle credit card payments but do not yet want to "automate" this procedure.
- Using UPS Zone Charts for estimating shipping from your own FOB ZIP code.
- Make certain items have no charge for shipping.
