SEO: Building Links

It's very important to keep building incoming links to your website. You never know when a few that you have out there will cease to exist. When building links, you should think short and long term. Here's an article that mentions a strategy that's more long term or more "ground floor" you could say:
And don't forget pages that don't yet have a visible Google PageRank - getting links on them is still good. Google's PageRank is just a glimpse of what Google thinks of a site - not what's totally going on in those Googleplexes. Again, don't get those deals where your website submitted to 1000 or 100 or even 50 sites at once. That could really hurt you later on. Good old doing it by hand is the best way. It'll take some work (and time) if you do it yourself - or you can hire an SEO company (cough... Webstix) to help you out. -Tony
