Twitter for Business

Hello! It's nice here in Wisconsin but they're saying we're going to get back to normal temps instead of these above normal temps we've been seeing. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted and I think the farmers want some rain now. The leaves are even changing colors a little already.

Well here's another article I found about Twitter and it's kind of a "Twitter Basics" article to explain how to use Twitter for your business. I've blogged about Twitter a lot lately. From what I've seen, you can get a lot of Twitter followers and traffic if you post a lot and post about things people are looking for. Twitter marketing really works.

Like the rest of the always-evolving social media world, finding the most effective way or ways to utilize Twitter for your business’ benefit is still a game without a clear-cut winning formula. However, I’ve put together a quick list of basics, tips, and other relevant information that will help you, the uninitiated Twitter user, get humming right away.

Whomever is doing the marketing for your business should be tweeting at least twice a day. Tweeting 10 times during the business a day is probably optimal for most businesses. That takes resources though. We're not even up to that level yet with the @webstix account, but I have some other sites set up that do at least that much tweeting and those sites get traffic. You should at least auto-tweet your blog (what? you don't have a blog??).
