Website Redesign
"I am familiar with Webstix in two capacities: in partnership with our marketing consultancy and as their direct customer. They have my unmitigated recommendation in both capacities. As a partner, they have state-of-the-art technical skills, keep to deadlines, and effectively communicate with customers. In sum, our consultancy’s own reputation is burnished when we do business with Webstix. As their customer, they built our latest website, and I think that website speaks for itself in recommending them."

I don't know why this is coming up again. I thought everyone has upgraded by now but I'd had this issue come up a few times recently. Here's what I wrote to a client just now:

Unfortunately we don't support IE6 with our web design. And honestly, anyone using it needs to upgrade it immediately because it's so full of security holes. Some websites post warnings to people using IE6 warning them to immediately upgrade. It's a seriously bad thing to use that browser - so there's no use in making websites to support that browser. Sorry. Please urge them to upgrade right away - for their own benefit.

Please stop using Internet Explorer 6 immediately. It's not 2004 anymore. :-) If you're not sure how to do that, then download and install Firefox and make it your default web browser when it asks. Updates on that browser are done automatically. It's really nice.
