Free CMS Training at Webstix

Webstix, Inc. offers monthly CMS training classes at our office on Madison's east side. Below is the schedule. Please check back here before attending in case there are changes.

The session agenda is:

• (5 minutes) CMS Introduction
• (50 minutes) Basic page and menu editing
• (35 minutes) Answer any questions or do specific training
• End after 1 hour and 30 minutes

This is open to our clients and to the public. You can come to find out more about our CMS, to get a refresher course (of send in new people if you've hired new employees), to brush up on your web/CMS skills or to ask specific questions about your Content Management System website.

If there are no attendees registering for a class (24 hours before the class), the class will be canceled.

Note: During the CMS training, a general knowledge of how to use computers, the World Wide Web and basic image editing software is assumed.

*SEO Training Class: Learn the basics of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in order to set up new pages on your website using the CMS so that they will rank high in search engine results pages.

** The April 22, 2009 class will be the last class for the 1.0.x version of the CMS. We will be providing video tutorials for that version of the CMS. Classes starting in May 2009 will be demonstrating the 1.5.x version of the CMS.
