One very good and basic computer skill to have is learning how to copy and paste things. This saves you typing and you're ensured that when you copy things like passwords, you're putting them in correctly. With computers, things are typically right or wrong. There's no "almost right" or "almost wrong" so using copy and paste commands can really make life easier.
I'd encourage you to learn the keyboard shortcuts for copying and pasting - rather than right clicking on your mouse. When you have to move your hands from the keyboard, to the mouse, move the mouse, then go back to the keyboard, it takes of a lot of time. With keyboard shortcuts, you'll save a lot of time and look like a seasoned computer user.
