When starting a project for a client, we like to know some color preferences. This helps our design team craft a website around your company's image. It also sets the mood for the website for your potential customers. Our design team can interject and add in their own ideas (they do that very often) but we like to first hear your ideas about website color.
You may already have company colors or colors in your logo which we can use. In that case, please send us the PMS color numbers.
If you don't know what colors to choose, here are some ideas:
- Find another website that has a color palette you like.
- Choose predefined color palettes from ColorCombos.com (Combo Library page).
- You can also try ColourLovers.com (Color Inspiration from Beer page).
- Find a picture or magazine ad or something that you like the colors of and send it over to us.

Some tips and notes about color:
- If your website is going to use a lot of pictures (including commerce websites), then don't go wild with color. Keep them toned down. Websites that have shopping carts shouldn't have so much design and color as to distract from the products being sold.
- You want to pick colors that go well together.
- Picking 3-4 colors is a good amount for us. At least one of those colors should be a neutral color - preferably two.
